For our third performance, at the great Queens venue, Blackthorn 51, we had an attendance of around 22. Fun part was, the headlining band that night was Pretty Boy Floyd, who were one of the last bands of the glam era to come out of Los Angeles. Rob saw them back in 1991 when his friends in XYZ opened for them at the Country Club in LA, so this was a neat opportunity. This show went very well, albeit with a short setlist. Following OP79, several other bands were part of the lineup:

Originally, OP79 was scheduled to go second, but the first band pulled out of the show the night before, so while we went on first, we didn’t start until the originally scheduled time.  Bands scheduled to play with us cancelling would become a common theme for a few shows.  But it was a great night for all involved, and although it was the last show of 2016, there was no doubt there would be more to come in the new year.
