Pirate Mike Whitney

Mike was born in NE Bergen County, New Jersey.  He went to The King’s College and has a degree in music education.  Since then he has pursued a life as a singer and actor, beginning with his time after college with the band Asch Tuesday.  With them he played the New York area’s rock venues like Coney Island High, Tramps, and Desmond’s Tavern, which he would reprise with OP79 in January of 2017.   Mike recently moved to Brooklyn, though for a long time he was a resident of Manhattan’s lower east side. He still lives and works in NYC, though he left OP79 in November 2018.
