Outpost 79 played its final show with the original members on Thursday, May 25 at Desmond’s Tavern on Park Avenue South.  It was Tommy’s and Matt’s last show before they move away, and we played a full-length show, with all our originals and the two covers.  Many friends from the NY Lady Magpies, Prestige Worldwide, AX, and Honor Among Thieves came out, and we thank everyone who braved the lousy weather to get there!

As always, things didn’t go as originally planned.  The opening band had to cancel due to an incident that we shan’t describe, but that allowed us to start at 930p and play all we wanted, which was great since we didn’t feel rushed and had plenty of time to banter with the crowd and watch the NHL playoff game that was going on also.  We gave away a few T-shirts, lots of stickers, and had a fun time despite the sadness in knowing it was the last show we would have together.
